How did the BABA start?
Inspired by Baulkham Hills Baptist Church, the Student run BABA started in Pennant Hills High school in 2016. The following year, the appeal grew to 2 schools, then 6, then 12 and so on. In 2025, the BABA operated in 25 Schools across the Hills, Sydney, collecting in excess of 5700 donations which were distributed by 10 different organisations!
Our Approach
The BABA focuses on Student leadership. Our team empowers & equips young leaders to make a tangible difference in their community. Students learn how to coordinate & market an appeal in their local community, all whilst practically helping our less fortunate during winter.
